Get your “Foot in the Door” at this year’s annual short film festival.

The diploma of Communication and Media class of Wollongong TAFE have developed “Foot in the door” an annual short film competition/festival which enables students to take their skills and learning beyond theory and simulation.

“Foot in the door” has attracted many supporters such as “Enchanted Media” and “Metro Screen.”

“FITD is an exceptional project presenting an unparalleled promotion opportunity for TAFE NSW and the Illawarra Institute in general” – Daniel Sanders Communications Producer.

“Foot in the Door” is unique in that:
· All entrants are provided with the same script
· All prizes are industry based work placements
· Films have no minimum length with a maximum length of 7 minutes
· It provided, free of charge, an opportunity for student entrants, no matter what faculty or discipline, to showcase their creative skills
· Co-opts existing infrastructure to market, organise and run the evnt thereby reducing costs
· Entrants promote the festival
